Dear Friends

1

Every year we run our very successful 10K fun run. All classes of entry from dedicated to fun runners are catered for. This year the event takes place on Sunday 15th July. An entry form can be downloaded from this page.
We have been extremely fortunate in that a local girl and boy, named Anne Collis and Sean Farrelly who attend St George's school in Gravesend, have kindly produced a CD - all proceeds from which they would like to donate to Cerebral palsy care.
They were helped by two more of their friends, one did the picture for the cover of the CD and one did the studio mixing. It is refreshing that that four young people are thinking about the less fortunate and are willing to donate their time to help raise much needed funds for the CPC. The cost of the CD is £5.00 and every penny comes directly to Cerebral Palsy care - so if you would like a copy, please contact the fund raising department on 01634 220330.

At the bottom of this page are details of how you can help us. Please take some time to read it.

CPC's Charity Glitz and Glamour Ball   Sweet Child of Mine
Saturday 6th October 2007   Jenny Sinclair
1 1 1
The Grand Ball will be held once again at the, home of the mighty blues, Priestfield's Banqueting. . More information available soon..

Jenny sinclair wrote the song 'Sweet Child of Mine' about her own son Mickey who has Cerebral Palsy and attended the Learning Centre here at CPC. The message she is trying to give is that, although he is disabled, in her eyes he's perfect and the words are simply about a mother's love for her child.

Jenny said "Mickey is a special soul and a great teacher to me. I feel very luck to have him as my son. Having bought the CD myself I often listen to it, I can assure you that you will be humming away to it as soon as you play it. It is a very heart warming CD and helps to keep the Learning Centre going for kids just like Mickey".

If you would like to purchase the CD you can either contact Mike Reed Promotions on 01634 723181 or contact Fundraising department at CPC on 01634 220330. Each CD costs £3 and Jenny donates £1 of that back to the Learning Centre. Alternatively visit www.carpenterstribute.com/home.htm for more details.

Each month we hold a draw of all our "Learning for Life" members and the winner receives a star prize. A monthly ticket costs £1 and you can buy as many as you wish to increase your chances of winning. For further information or to purchase a ticket please call Fundraising on 01634 220330.

Wall of Sponsors!   How You Can Help Us!
1

CPC hold numerous fund raising events and activities. We need to have prizes enabling us to boost our income.
Can you or do you have any contacts that would be willing to donate something for us to raffle or auction?
Raffle prizes can be anything, i.e Gift vouchers, wine, spirits, giftsets, books (new), cuddly toys, electrical products, Gift set's, tickets to events etc.
Auctions: Sporting memorobilea, tickets to events, sports/music (authenticated letters where possible please.), weekend breaks, flights, holidays, china, pottery etc.
Auction gifts need to be of good quality and value enabling us to make as much money as we can.

The Wall of Sponsors is situated inside the hall and is a permanent reminder of supporters who have made a monetary commitment to the work of Cerebral Palsy Care. A donation of £150 secures a permanent place on the wall and is our way of providing a special 'thank you' to businesses, rotary clubs, charitable trusts and individuals.
